Overturned Car w/ Entrapment

Station 2 FIRE/EMS was dispatched for the auto-accident w/ entrapment at 11:06 a.m.

Deputy 2 (M. Norris) arrived on scene to find an SUV that had overturned and struck a utility pole, trapping the driver.

The crews of Engine 2-2 and Rescue 2 stabilized the vehicle and then performed a full roof removal to free the subject with the Holmatro rescue tools. The extrication was completed by 11:39 a.m.

The victim was flown to a Philadelphia trauma center by PENNSTAR I in stable condition.

All Station 2 units cleared the scene just before 12:30 p.m.
