Berwyn Fire Company EMS was dispatched at 9:00 a.m. to the 500 block of Mountainview Drive in Chesterbrook for an injured person. After the Chester County 9-1-1 Center clarified the location of the incident, it was determined to be in the 500 block of Mount View Road in the Berwyn section of Tredyffrin Township

Based on information of multiple injured workers and a roof collapse, Deputy Chief 2 (Wayne Riddle) added Tower 2 to the assignment. First arriving units found a collapsed garage attached to a single family home. All subjects working in the area were able to self-extricate from the debris pile, but sustained injuries.

The crew of Tower 2 assessed the home for any possible gas leaks or electrical issues as a result of the collapse, while EMS tended to the victims.

Two patients were transported ALS to Paoli Hospital, while one was transported BLS to Paoli as well. All Station 2 units were clear of scene by 10 a.m.
