BERWYN, PA - Berwyn volunteer Joshua C. Lichman was appointed to the position of Lieutenant earlier this month. Josh joined the Company as a firefighter in 2009 while enrolled at Saint Joseph’s University where he attained a bachelor’s of science in business administration majoring in finance.

A former longtime resident of the Glenhardie section of Tredyffrin Township, and Conestoga High School graduate, he currently resides in Malvern with his girlfriend and two dogs while maintaining his active volunteer status. Josh continues to have family that live in the Chesterbrook and Glenhardie sections of the Township.

Throughout his membership, Josh has sat as the chair of the social committee, active in the membership committee, as well as heading Berwyn’s water rescue team initiatives. Josh is also a certified Emergency Medical Technician, along with possessing numerous fire and rescue certifications.

In 2012, Josh was voted and awarded by his peers Firefighter of the Year. Currently, Josh is employed by Henkels & McCoy Inc. as a project controller handling the financials for a multi-million dollar job to strengthen an overhead electrical transmission system in New Jersey.

Best of luck to Josh as he takes on this new role in service to the T-E community.
