BERWYN, PA - The Berwyn Fire Company was paid a special visit from the Saint Monica Holy Name Society (HNS) during the February Company Meeting. A generous donation of $2,000 was presented to the membership. This donation will directly support the fire and emergency medical services that the volunteers and career staff at Berwyn provide to Tredyffrin and Easttown Townships on a daily basis.

As a non-profit organization we depend on the generous support of citizens and businesses to operate. Along with municipal support we receive from Tredyffrin Township and Easttown Township and medical billing reimbursement, donations represent a critical component of our income to maintain our service delivery.

The HNS provides financial assistance through “fun-raising” and membership receipts providing for scholarship assistance to Saint Monica’s Parish needs or improvements and supporting the following parish organizations in their missions:

St. Gabriel Food Drive
Giving Tree
Eagle Eye Ministries
Legacy of Life
Parishioners in need
St. Monica Youth Group
Dominic Coyle Scholarship
St. Monica Women’s Society
Berwyn Fire Company
Laymen’s Retreat League
St. Monica Outreach Program

The Berwyn Fire Company extends it thanks to the HNS for their extra efforts to help others in the community and beyond. To learn more about the great work of HNS, please visit their website at https://saintmonicachurch.org/holy-name-society-1
