Berwyn Fire/EMS Conduct Training & Handle Several Calls on Monday

BERWYN, PA - Berwyn Fire Company firefighters took advantage of the nice weather to do some ladder training during drill night. Crews performed ladder climbs and reviewed the operations of Tower 2.

During the day, fire/EMS personnel responded to 8 calls in the T-E community. Firefighters also assisted the Paoli Fire Company on Ashby Rd. in Easttown Township near the Upper Main Line Y on a shed fire.

6) 7:40 p.m. / Valley Forge Rd. / Tredyffrin Twp. / Basic Life Support
7) 7:43 p.m. / Springhouse Pond Dr. / Tredyffrin Twp. / Basic Life Support
8) 9:40 p.m. / Poplar Ave. / Tredyffrin Twp. / Carbon Monoxide Alarm

As Pennsylvania moves closer to the 'green phase' and severe storms continue to hit the area, overall call volume continues to rise or exceed pre-COVID levels. There have already been over 120 fire calls and nearly 100 EMS calls with only half the month of June complete.
