BERWYN, PA - On Thursday, December 3rd at 3:47 p.m., fire and emergency medical services from the Berwyn Fire Company were dispatched to the 400 block of Devon Park Dr. in Tredyffrin Township for a motor vehicle collision.

The Chester County 9-1-1 Center reported a single vehicle crash close to an office building. Prior to this incident dispatch, a Berwyn ambulance was handling a medical call on Treaty Dr. in the Chesterbrook section of Tredyffrin Township.

Rescuers arrived to find an SUV that had rolled over a parked car and came to rest back on its wheels. Due to the condition of the driver and sole occupant, the EMS crew quickly removed them to begin advanced life support treatment. Additional EMS and fire personnel assisted with patient care.

The driver was transported by Berwyn ambulance to Paoli Hospital in critical condition. All units were clear of the scene by 4:30 p.m. Another Berwyn ambulance responded to a separate medical call at 4:07 p.m. in the 800 block of Richards Rd. in Tredyffrin Township.

The Tredyffrin Township Police Department provided scene control and investigated the cause of the collision.
