BERWYN, PA - Earlier this morning at 8:47 a.m., the Berwyn Fire Company was dispatched to Rt. 202 Northbound in the area of the W. Swedesford Rd. on ramp in Tredyffrin Township for an automobile fire.

The crews of Engine 2-1 and Engine 2-2 arrived to find a vehicle engulfed in flames. The fire was quickly extinguished without further incident. The driver and sole occupant escaped without injury. The Tredyffrin Township Police Department assisted with closing the W. Swedesford Rd. on ramp and slowing traffic down on Rt. 202. The scene was cleared up before 9:45 a.m.
