BERWYN, PA - The Berwyn Fire Company was dispatched to the 100 block of E. Swedesford Rd., at the Gateway Shopping Center, in Tredyffrin Township for a motor vehicle collision at 1:45 p.m. today.

Fire/EMS units arrived on scene with a vehicle that had come to rest on its side, in the shopping center parking lot, after traveling off of the southbound lanes of Rt. 202 and rolling over multiple times. The driver was safely removed by rescuers and then transported by ambulance under advanced life support care to Paoli Hospital.

The Tredyffrin Township Police Department provided traffic control and investigated the cause of the crash.

Fire crews worked with Abel Brothers Towing and Automotive Inc to clean-up debris and vehicle fluids from the scene. All emergency personnel were clear of this incident by 3 p.m.
