BERWYN, PA - This past week, Berwyn Fire Company volunteers and career staff, along with first responders from neighboring agencies welcomed Lt. Brian Garver back to work after battling cancer this past year.

Lt. Garver has been active in Chester County Fire/EMS as a volunteer and paid responder for over 35 years. This has included 20 years with the Berwyn Fire Company. He holds numerous national certifications in fire/rescue and was most recently certified as an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician.

Despite going through intense surgery and treatment, Brian stayed in touch and worked hard to get back to work a lot sooner than anyone would have expected. He has been a staple at the Berwyn Fire Company and is dedicated to his profession.
