Station 2 units were alerted to the 800 Block of Lancaster Ave in Tredyffrin Township for a dumpster fire around 7:30 pm. Responding units were advised that the dumpster was in the rear of the property. Within a few moments from dispatch, Assistant Chief Brundage arrived on scene confirming a dumpster on fire.

Despite the snowfall, Engine 2-2 and Engine 2-3 arrived on scene almost simultaneously and were able to get the fire under control quickly. All units cleared the scene in about 30 minutes.
