BERWYN, PA - After firefighters responded to a fire alarm activation at Recovery Centers of America in Easttown Township at 11:24 p.m. and then another fire alarm in the Parkview at Chesterbook development in Tredyffrin Township at 12:02 a.m., a motor vehicle collision was dispatched at 12:23 a.m. in the area of 1000 Chesterbrook Blvd. in Tredyffrin Township.

First arriving crews encountered a vehicle that had run off the roadway and came to rest on its side. Rescuers from Engine 2-1 and Engine 2-2 stabilized the vehicle and removed the windshield so the driver could be safely extricated. The driver was transported by ambulance to Paoli Hospital with minor injuries.

The Tredyffrin Township Police Department provided scene control and investigated the cause of the crash. All units cleared the scene by 1:30 a.m.
