Busy Morning for Berwyn Fire/EMS Crews

BERWYN, PA - The volunteers and career staff of the Berwyn Fire Company responded to 11 fire/EMS calls today, while an additional two EMS calls were covered by the Radnor Fire Company in the T-E community.

As the heavy rains impacted the area earlier this morning, crews were dispatched at 8:13 a.m. for a institutional fire alarm activation on Highland Ave. in Easttown Township, a transformer fire at 8:22 a.m. on Park Ridge Dr. in Tredyffrin Township and then a vehicle fire at 8:28 a.m. near the intersection of Cassatt Rd. and Conestoga Rd. also in Tredyffrin.

Fortunately no one was injured at the vehicle fire scene.

The Tredyffrin Township Police Department, Tredyffrin Township Public Works Department and Easttown Township Police Department assisted at various incidents throughout the day.
