2 Injured in Rt. 252 Crash in Easttown Twp. |

BERWYN, PA - On Friday, September 27th at 10:37 p.m., the Berwyn Fire Company was dispatched to the intersection of Darby Paoli Rd. (Rt. 252) and Leopard Rd. in Easttown Township for a motor vehicle collision. Berwyn Ambulance 2-3 arrived with a two-vehicle crash with a driver trapped in their car. As Berwyn Engine 2-2 began extrication efforts, Berwyn Chief 2 requested additional resources from Paoli Fire Company and East Whiteland Fire Company. Paoli MICU 3-1 tended to the other driver who was quickly transported to Paoli Hospital. Rescuers between Berwyn, Paoli and East Whiteland worked together to free the trapped driver, who was then transported to Paoli Hospital by Berwyn Ambulance 2-3 with serious injuries. The Easttown Township Police Department investigated the cause of the collision. Rt. 252 was closed between Leopard Rd. and Grubbs Mill Rd. during the incident. All units were available from the scene by 12 Midnight. |
