| Station 3 (Paoli) and Amb./Medic 2-1 were dispatched to the intersection of Route 252 & Sugartown Rd. for the auto-accident with entrapment.
First arriving units found a two vehicle side impact collison with three occupants trapped.
The Jaws of Life were used to remove the passenger side and rear side doors to safely extricate the patients from the impacted car.
EMS crews worked together to package and transport the victims to the Paoli Memorial Hospital helipad. PENNSTAR 1, PENNSTAR 2 and Skycare 1 aeromedicals flew all three victims to Philadelphia trauma centers.
The driver of the striking vehicle was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
Fire police assisted Easttown Police with scene control throughout the incident. |
