| Despite competing against several other platform ladders in the tri-state area and responding to the 2 alarm fire in Radnor the night before, Berwyn's Tower 2 was awarded 2nd place for Most Functional and Appearing Platform Ladder at the 2013 PA State Firemen's Parade held in West Chester this past Saturday.
Berwyn's Medic 2 and Fire Police assisted Fame Fire Company with EMS and Traffic Control during the festivities as well.
Congratulations to all the winners, including our neighbors Radnor, Paoli & Valley Forge Fire Companies for awards received in their respective categories!
A special thanks to the Fame Fire Company of West Chester who hosted the PA Firemen's Convention & Parade in honor of their 175th anniversary. This was the first time this event has been held in Chester County and it was huge success. Congratulations for a job well done! |
