TREDYFFRIN TWP., PA - On Saturday, April 25th at 12:44 a.m., fire and emergency medical services from the Berwyn Fire Company were dispatched to the area of Rt. 202 North near the Rt. 422 West on ramp in Tredyffrin Township for a motor vehicle collision. The initial 9-1-1 caller indicated a vehicle went over a highway concrete wall.

First arriving rescuers were met with a car down an embankment after rolling over and coming to rest back on its wheels. The EMS crew began tending to the injured subject as crews from Engine 2-2 and Tower 2 set-up a rope system to safely lower the patient to level ground.

The driver was transported by Berwyn ambulance to Paoli Hospital under advanced life support care. All units were clear of the scene prior to 2 a.m. The Tredyffrin Township Police Department provided traffic control and investigated the cause of the collision.
