BERWYN, PA - The Berwyn Fire Company ended the last week of September with a total of 70 fire / EMS incidents dispatched. This was also the 5th month of the year surpassing the 200 call mark for EMS incidents as record call volume is experienced.

In particular, during the 48 hour period on Thursday and Friday last week, career staff and volunteers were especially busy being dispatched to 33 calls. With the exception of mutual aid calls in East Whiteland Township, Willistown Township, Schuylkill Township in Chester County and an assist to Newtown Township in Delaware County, all other calls occurred within the T-E community.

The Paoli Fire Company covered two EMS calls on N. Valley Forge Rd. and Rt. 202 in Tredyffrin Township, while Radnor Fire Company covered an EMS call on E. Conestoga Rd. also in Tredyffrin due to multiple calls occurring at once.

The Officers of the Tredyffrin Township Police Department and Easttown Township Police Department assisted at numerous incidents throughout the month.
