BERWYN, PA - Today, five of BFC’s volunteers graduated from Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) class. All five have successfully passed their Pennsylvania Department of Health exam and are in the process of becoming primary care providers. They have worked closely with EMS Lieutenant Emily Nudy over the last six months to gain experience during their class.
They completed their class through the Conestoga High School/Technical College High School Brandywine Campus Allied Health Program. These new EMTs also spent a lot of time in the practical labs at Good Fellowship Ambulance & EMS Training Institute in nearby West Chester. This allowed them to complete their certification throughout their senior year of high school.
EMT Grace Frey and FF/EMT Ethan Tartaglio, both residents of Tredyffrin Township, were named Students of the Year. All of them are headed off to college in the fall to pursue a variety of studies and we wish them the best of luck!
